The English Language Olympiad

This decade was dedicated to the English Language, so we made some special lessons for our students. There are some photos of my lovely pupils.

On the 10th of March we made Newspapers about "Famous London Landmarks" with the 7th grade. Here are the results:

 On the 13th of March we watch the films dedicated to music, and the topic was "The Importance of Music in Our Life"

On the 16th of March we arranged a super trivia quiz with the 11th grade about "Modern English Culture", I hope they liked it as much as I did. (Someone was even working with the social medias)

8th grade

This week we are watching films dedicated to music. Here are some of them.

In this uplifting short film, directed by Max Thurlow and Nick Trumble, Noisey meets 93 year old jazz pianist Edward Hardy. Ed was given a new lease of life and relief from dementia and depression, when his care home discovered he was a talented pianist in his younger days. They reunited him with his ex-band members for a special performance, which proved the power of music for people suffering cognitive disorders. 

Sometimes you have to listen with your heart... One Saturday night, midway through an impromptu concert, she notices a customer she hasn't seen before with a look of complete disinterest on his face. Laura wouldn't usually mind, but with this guy, it's as though she wasn't even there. Who is he? And why can't Laura stop looking at him?

8th grade!!!!

As I promised you, I share my experience of being at the concert. One year ago I went to the performance of my favourite musical band "Hurts". It was the best day in my life. Here are some videos and also a ticket. Enjoy and share my happiness with me!!!!

It was smashing. Some words about the band: Hurts is an English synthpop duo formed in 2009, consisting of synthesist Adam Anderson and singer Theo Hutchcraft. Their first two albums, Happiness and Exile, both reached the top ten in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, and Finland.
